    Vidal Guzman

    Vidal Guzman is an abolitionist, entrepreneur, and author, serving as the Executive Director and Board Treasurer of America On Trial Inc. He leads the #AIRS Campaign, #FixThe13thNY, and the End Qualified Immunity NY Campaign.

    Raised in Harlem, Vidal was arrested at 16 and later incarcerated for five years. After his release, he turned his experience into advocacy, becoming a leading voice for criminal legal reform. As an organizer with JustLeadershipUSA, he helped secure $391 million in community investments through NYC’s 2019 Close Rikers plan. Committed to systemic change, Vidal continues to fight for justice, equity, and the dismantling of oppressive systems.

    Grace is passionately dedicated to systemic change and empowering marginalized communities in NYC and beyond through grassroots activism. Serving as a Board member of America On Trial Inc. (AOT) and participating in various advocacy groups, Grace tirelessly challenges unjust systems and promotes meaningful social change.

    Hyisheem Shabazz Calier, a graduate with MSW & JD degrees, blends legal expertise with social work and musical expression. A dedicated community-oriented professional and AOT Board Member.

  • Dylan Hayre

    Dylan Hayre

    Dylan Hayre is the National Advocacy and Campaigns Director at the Fines and Fees Justice Center, an AOT Board Member, and a philanthropic advisor. He leads efforts to reform fines and fees while collaborating with national partners to create a fairer justice system. Previously, he directed criminal justice initiatives at Arnold Ventures, worked on clemency and death penalty repeal at the ACLU, and led policy analysis at JustLeadershipUSA. A former Massachusetts prosecutor, Dylan later ran his own defense practice and advised political campaigns. He holds a law degree, a master’s in education, and a bachelor’s in mathematics from Boston College.
